What this editor does

Nothing leaves your device

Most "online video editors" upload your footage to their servers, queue it, and hand you back a watermarked file. This one doesn't have servers to upload to. The video is decoded by your browser and re-encoded by a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg running in the same tab, so the file never travels and there is no account, no queue and no watermark. The trade-off is honest: encoding uses your own CPU, so trim before you export and expect a long 4K clip to take its time.

Questions

Is the video uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read straight from your device, and trimming, cropping, captioning and the MP4 export all run inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.

Is there a watermark or a sign-up?

Neither. There is no account, no email and no watermark on the export.

What formats can I crop to?

Original, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 for feed posts, 4:5 for Instagram portrait, and 16:9 for YouTube. You drag the crop frame to pick what stays in shot.

What file types does it accept?

Anything your browser can play — MP4, MOV, WebM and M4V in practice. The export is always MP4 (H.264/AAC), capped at 1080p on the long side.

Is there a file size limit?

No hard limit, but everything is encoded by your own device, so a short clip finishes in seconds while a long 4K file will take a while and use a lot of memory. Trim first, then export.
